University of Leicester staff encouraged to swap car for electric bike

The University aims to increase bike use for trips to meetings on campus, as well as trips to and from home.

An existing program where electric and regular bikes are supplied by Ebike Centres is to be expanded.

Liam Dunphy, Ebike Centres managing director, said: “They have several campuses in Leicester and people have to move between them for meetings. They are one of the first big organisations in Leicester to use a bike pool scheme.”
