Ride On Bikes owner Jason McKenzie uses social media to recover stolen bike

Jason McKenzie, co-owner of Ride on Bikes went for lunch leaving a nearly $6,000 electric bicycle unlocked on a rack attached to the back of his SUV in Midtown Columbus.

But unfortunately the red Specialized bike was stolen. The story is not finished here! McKenzie recovered his bike by dint of social media.

He posted a picture of the bike on his personal Facebook page and another on the Ride On Bikes Facebook page. The photo was taken minutes before the bike was stolen. Luckily many of his Facebook friends and followers shared his two Facebook posts more than 270 times. Finally, after 24 hours McKenzie had his ride back! Read full story here.
