Leave It to Denmark to Make a Sleek, Solar-Powered, Electric Bicycle

Jesper Frausig, a Denmark inventor has made a sleek, solar-powered electric bicycle. The Solar Bike can propel a cyclist for just over 40 miles on sustainable energy.

The solar bike is an environment friendly, innovative and sustainable alternative to the electric bike, designed to improve life. It’s battery is directly charged by using renewable solar energy, which makes the bike cost free. The bike looks normal except for a couple alterations. There’s a torpedo-shaped battery cannister mounted in the front triangle. And the wheels are solid-black circles, due to solar-paneled skins.

Frausig is promoting the bike toward city riders, the elderly, and people who get sweaty when they huff and puff on a standard cycle. Full Story.
