Electric cars win the day at Pikes Peak taking 1st and 2nd place overall

First time EV’s  win the entire Pikes Peak hill climb. 

Rhys Millen and Nobuhiro “Monster” Tajima, both driving electric cars in the 93rd running of the Pikes Peak Hillclimb race, on Sunday, took 1st and 2nd place in the overall ranking with preliminary times of 9:07.222 and 9:32.401 respectively. This historic achievement marks the first time electric vehicles have won outright at Pikes Peak, and puts the racing world on notice that electric vehicles are coming.
