Electric bikes may replace local delivery trucks in Germany

Electric bikes can be a replacement for trucks in local deliveries.  Do you believe it? Yes, the German government is considering electric bikes as a medium-term replacement for trucks.

Reports indicate that the Transport Ministry is spending about €13 million on e-bike science and implementation projects through 2016.
