Electric bike changes life for disabled Newport boy

Dylan Shackson, eight, from Malpas, was diagnosed with lower motor neurone syndrome, anterior horn cell disease, and bulbar palsy at birth.

So unable to turn the pedals, he was denied the fun of biking with his brother and his friends.  Thanks to fundraising efforts by his mother, they were able to buy a specialist bike attachment from Team Hybrid. The attachment transforms a regular wheelchair, into an electric trike with much greater performance than traditional electric chairs.
