Eco-bikes to help check pollution

Start up builds and rents electric bikes to help curb air pollution in Mysuru city.

A few city-based youths have started renting Eco-bikes to people who want to pedal to work and for errands. This concept is quite popular in developed countries. Vikas Hosahalli and Mahesh Siddegowda started manufacturing these bikes and renting them at their outlets in Mysuru. This goes well with their aim of protecting the environment and promoting cycling. The e-bike runs on lithium ion battery and when it’s fully charged for three hours, it runs for 70 kilometres.
