e-Joe One Review

The e-Joe One is a decent looking hardtail electric mountain bike available in one size (medium) and one color (black). Overall, the bike rides well enough and the throttle mode works well to communicate battery capacity, speed, range and assist level.

The bike has a 350 watt geared hub motor paired with 36 volt 9 amp hours Lithium battery pack with Samsung cells. The battery is removable and can be charged on or off the bike itself which is great for commuting or if we’ve got limited space inside our home or apartment. The battery pack is mounted low to the ground and weight is spread out evenly over the frame.

Highlights of the bike are:

  • The weight is great at ~43lbs and the shock works as expected.
  • The LCD computer display is commendable because it displays speed, range, battery capacity and pedal assist level and is easily adjustable to avoid glare.
  • Mechanical disc brakes work well, brake levers cut power to the motor when activated.
  • Trigger shifters work well and are ideal for off road riding vs. twist shifter.

For someone who is looking for a medium sized off road e-bike, this bike could be a good choice. Read the complete review from
